Once you have had your initial consultation you may be keen to start treatment as soon as possible or we can provide you with as much time as you need in order to reach the decision to begin treatment.

It is important to have all the necessary health screening tests done in the month before the month in which you wish to start your treatment. It is essential for us to have blood results in date and, in your file before booking your start up (day 19) appointment.

At this start up appointment, the doctor will go through your treatment in detail and ensure you are confident with the way forward.

Our Embryologists are available to you throughout the treatment and will be in contact after Egg Recovery to chat with you both, the next day to discuss fertilisation rate/progress and, on Embryo Transfer day to answer any questions.

We provide a urine pregnancy test kit to carry out in the privacy of your own home.

At Wessex we have experience in Transmyometrial embryo transfer if this is required.

Regular Clinical Meetings are held at Wessex when all Doctors and Consultants meet with nurses and Embryologists to discuss every couple's case and to plan continuing treatment.

A follow up appointment within three months of treatment can be arranged without additional cost. A fee will be charged for follow up appointments which take place more than three months after the treatment cycle.
